My Sex Ed designs resources and facilitates workshops about sexual health education for a variety of audiences, including teachers, parents, students, and other stakeholders. My Sex Ed is run by Carly Basian, a leading Ontario curriculum expert in sexual health education.
Carly has a master's degree specializing in best practices teaching sexual health. Carly regularly provides workshops and consultations to current and prospective teachers, including at the University of Toronto (OISE). Carly also offers family consultations to help parents navigate the challenges of having conversations with their kids about sexual health, healthy relationships, and adolescent development.
Given the recent repeal of the 2015 Ontario Human Development and Sexual Health ("sex ed") curriculum, My Sex Ed will be designing lesson plans for teachers that incorporate topics from the 2015 curriculum while still being compliant with the 1998 learning expectations.
Please visit the About page for more information about My Sex Ed. If you are interested in booking a consultation or workshop, please visit the Contact page.
